For you Dad...
Every once in a while, you come across something and you know it's just right.
The same happened when I stumbled upon an Orange long skirt, something that I hardly wear (by which I mean skirts) and hence found my wardrobe-soulmate.
My first collaboration with Lakhina Couture, this Dream Skirt is nothing short of a beautiful dream.
It is ethereal, it's Orange and it's like walking n 'twirling' around in your very own fairy-tale!
Let's take a look....
Made of Georgette Fabric with Shantung Lining on the inside, the Dream Skirt is also fitted with Can-Can at the bottom that successfully gives it an elegant flare and true to it's name gives you a Fantasy-Royal Princess feel.
I got the black top from Fab Alley and it makes a beautiful twosome with the skirt, making the entire look even more opulent and grand.
Initially, I thought of coupling the skirt with a white crop top, but went with a regular black one instead.
The boat neck and the semi-transparent net with a plunging bust-line makes the top sexy yet outrageously magnificent. If you're not too fond of monochromes or solids, then you can easily go for a floral top too.
I decided to do the accessorising a bit differently with this look and for the first time ever, I opted for a graceful golden Arm-cuff instead of regular bangles or handcuffs from Pep My Persona and Silver-Kundan Anklets from Anjali Jewellers that made the ensemble a gorgeous amalgamation of Western and Ethnic simultaneously.
The Pink Lotus Petal Neck-Piece grabs the attention keeping a sharp contrast with the bright skirt at the bottom.
My favourite stone-studded Roish Silver Heels, accompanied me like a true companion as I flew around the city donning My Orange Dream for the very first time.

Lakhina Couture is all about discovering, breaking and re-building conventional style thus creating something so different yet familiar that it's almost surreal.
Perhaps the most treasured piece of fabric that I own right now, Lakhina made me wear something that I left long ago.
Wear this skirt with a corset, a crop top or even a normal one like I did and see how everything and everyone around you changes in a jiffy.
