For quite sometime, I have been observing the recent yet unusual rise in something called 'Co-ordinates' or simply the 'Co-ords'.

If you're wondering what it might be, Farlex's Dictionary describes it as "a set of clothes of matching or harmonious colours and designs, suitable for wearing together."

Co-Ords are simple, sassy and quite uncomplicated.

Whether you're in a lot of rush, or have ample amount of time to dress up, Co-Ords are good enough for keeping your entire look synchronized, edgy and vivacious.

This particular skirt and blouse Co-Ord by Subhadra, is deliciously distinct mainly because of it's unique combination of colours while the Collar-and-Pleats combo makes the entire outfit outrageously exotic.

Overall it gives a conventional good-girl vibe yet the tiny glimpse of the waist makes it supremely sexy.

The buttons at the middle obviously helped a lot.

The floral skirt and blouse reminded me of Bernard Shaw's much loved and admired cockney flower-girl: 'Eliza Doolittle' and how Audrey Hepburn made it look like a dream come true in My Fair Lady.

As a kid, most of us are forced to wear Co-Ords that made us look like the dorkiest goof around, but an outfit like this would definitely make a girl want to go back to this again and again!

The mousse finished hair, with a perfect middle-parting was done to give me a Sabyaschi Mukherjee look (not him literally, but the way he makes his models walk the runaway most of the times) keeping all the attention on the flowers that enveloped me from all sides.

I loved the way the Make-up Artist played with my eyes drawing the sides with Orange and Black while he created an enormous pout with the deepest shade of blood-red that he had.

I give a big thumbs-up to Co-Ords 'cause I can say for sure that this isn't going to be my only pair in the closet.

If you're a bit unsure of finding them at retail stores, get them designed by your own tailor or simply shop online.

Online Stores like Stalk Buy Love, Koovs and Jabong has a great collection at all prices.

So go ahead and Co-Ord yourself!

For Dad.

Since I was a kid, I had been drawn to the world of Fashion like moth to flame. Any outfit that looked beautiful mesmerised me instantly and made me wonder how a person changed  under the influence of certain clothes.

Though the ironical thing is I am no ways related to Fashion. I never went to a fashion school neither can I draw or sketch dresses.

All I cherished was the pure love for anything that makes a person stand out in the crowd.

Sometimes, you plan to wear something that's so rare, maybe because of the colours you choose or even the fabric that it's almost impossible to find.

For me, it's either Sarees or Lehenga.

The two Indian outfits that I'm crazy obsessed about!

Online shopping is great. For almost about 90%. For the rest 10. When you're planning to invest in a wear that costs a kidney, I prefer a thorough scouting of all the best shops in town.

Since Indian wear comes as a natural forte to all our moms, aunts and sisters, I tag them along too.

Today's post is my fourth collaboration with 'Subhadra'.

A brand that uses its expertise in Pure Indian Wear with so much finesse that you'll feel like owning atleast one for yourself. Another first in LSF, today I share my picture-space with a fellow model colleague, who can also be seen in Subhadra's male ensemble making the entire look very royale and picturesque.

Let's begin.....

A duppata-less entirety, the beauty of  this floral print Lehenga lies in its absolute simplicity fusioned with tonnes of elegance. As you can see in the pictures, the attire was accesorised with only Silver Jewellery that included a thick Maang-Tika, Handcuffs, Heavy Jhumkas and of course, a traditional Rajasthani-style Nose-Ring.

The blouse is cut extremely deep on both front and back thus creating a sexy and aesthetic look simultaneously.

The latkans or the knots back on the top just add to it's sheer simplicity.

Made out of Heavy Georgette and Raw Silk, the materials for the outfit were all brought from Delhi and stitched in Calcutta.

Gourab can be seen wearing a Satin Dhoti with golden embroidery work on waist, self-stitched by Pyne himself.

In his case as well, the designer strictly adhered to Silver-Oxidised Jewellery on neck, waist and on the turban.

The amazing thing, however, is, Pyne himself assembled all the pieces of jewellery and made them what you can see in the pictures.

The make up for this blog-post deserves a special mention. For this particular shoot, we consciously gave an effort to recreate Deepika Padukone's Deewani Mastani look from Bajirao Mastani, keeping it almost nude and subtle at the eyes and only highlighting the T-Zone, the Cheek Bones summing up with the lips.

To create an extra enhancing eye-make up that makes the eye area look fuller and bigger, the Make Up Artist just gave two coats of VOV's Rose Pink Eyeshadow with a tinge of Gold from Faces, Glam On Eyeshadow palette.

There's absolutely no use of any sorts of Liner or Kohl at all. This was infact the first shoot of my entire life, where I had no kohl in my eyes at all.

Just a few dashes of L'Oreal's False Lash Butterfly Mascara along with FEG's Eyelash Enhancers and that was it. The lips were first drawn with Maybelline's Lip Liner - Hollywood Red and then filled in with MAC's Diva.

One of the finest experiences of donning an Indian wear, this lehenga is a perfect combination of ethnicity, subtlety and oodles of gorgeousness.

Just the way an Indian wear should be.

How amazing is that, a name which is as short as Red symbolises 'Beginning' and well....the 'End'....

From the same shoot.

The beauty of the dress lies in how it falls all the way till my calf muscles at the back and ends dangerously high at my thighs in the front. The dress is made out of lycra-spandex so it has this habit of rolling itself upwards, so all I have to worry while wearing this piece is pulling it down from time to time, especially while sitting.

Although not typically red, the lal-paar shada saree is extremely worn, loved and considered auspicious amongst Bengali women, especially during the Puja times.

Remember the climax of 'Kahaani'?

Here's one more example of the same kind of saree. A little different in design. But you know...serves the same purpose.

Red is mighty powerful amongst Hindu women also cause of Vermilion which is of course of the said shade and the wedding attire (saree or otherwise) for 90 percent of the time is red because of it's sanctity and association to everything holy.

I love this Parineeta or simply the Married-Woman look a lot. The bindi, the bangles and the flower work at the edge of the saree does all the wonders.

LOOK 5.)

To break the monotony of saree-clad pictures here's one candid shot taken God knows when in one of my most favourite dress bought from Honey.

LOOK 6.)

Or maybe you can wear a cool, breezy top and take a selfie like this:

LOOK 7.)

This picture was taken last year and the top is one stunning piece I own from Myntra that makes me look and stand convincingly apart. Although originally maroon, it falls in the family of same shade so I felt free to include it as well.

See the semi transparent net work on the arm? It extends till the elbows

and makes an absolutely dazzling statement on sun-kissed Indian complexion like ours.

LOOK 8.)

Is the monotony broken? Good. 'Cause I'm helplessly going back to ethnics.

This saree teamed up with fresh lime green blouse gives a look like no other. It was during this shoot when perhaps I learned the importance of 'contrast' in terms of wardrobe and have been diligently trying it since then. The minimal costume jewelry along with the semi transparent black full length sleeves just add the remaining elegance. If given a chance I would love to look like this at any given time of the day.

The black bindi and kohl-smeared eyes enhanced with baby pink lips just makes the entire look perfecto! <3

LOOK 9.)

Pissed off at the douchebaggery of  the male chauvinistic world?

Show off your anger in Red!

LOOK 10.)

Or simply give a long, complex, semi seductive glance and you'll drive them beyond the cliff of insanity for sure!

Don't just turn Red. Turn Heads wearing one.

The gown you see above isn't a pure shade of Red.

Trust me. Nothing. Absolutely nothing can go wrong with Red. There's a reason why every prestigious event has a Red Carpet Ceremony put altogether. Can you imagine the same happening with sweet and charming Blue or the vibrant Yellow?

LOOK 11.)

             Playful. Fun. Feisty. Peppy.

LOOK 12.)

Or maybe darken the tone a little and look - Divine!

LOOK 13.)

This is the blazer I got last year during Christmas and I'm surely never gonna regret this purchase. Like ever.

Wish Winter extended for more than just two months here in India.

LOOK 14.)

During my Fatso phase! OUCH.

This top stands for pure comfort, simplicity and sophistication all thrown in cotton, black and red.

LOOK 15.)

Finally, I would love to sum up the blog with the first glimpse of what's going to be my most anticipated entry ever. - THE BRIDE. Which obviously, is on it's way and till then you can warm yourselves up with this extremely gorg Red Lehenga that's gonna drive any heterosexual man wild.

Wearing Red on the Wedding Day is directly proportional to attracting the groom sexually towards the bride.

Red drives them wild.

So go ahead, put on a Red Lipstick. Have Fun. Smile. And then put some more!

Bonus Look!

Look Classy. Look Unique. Look Red-tastic!
